We need a new idea
Our beloved shooting festival has been cancelled for the second time in a row due to coronavirus... where has all the joy gone?
‘Schütza dahoim’ (home sweet home) is therefore this year's motto, and what could be more fitting than dedicating a gin to our local festival with a shooting design, shooting flavour and ‘all around me is joy’.
Schützenkrapfen in gin?
Raspberries have always been recommended as a serving suggestion for Beaver's Crown Gin. Inspired by the popular Schützenkrapfen doughnuts, we wanted to incorporate this light raspberry flavour into the taste experience of the gin itself with the 2021 Schützen Edition, treating the palate to a little bit of Schützen.
All around me there is joy
On the way to the current design, we had to learn that the “artistic intelligence” of AI is not always apparent at first glance. After many failures and several hours of computing power, we finally found our design for the 2023 Shooter Edition.

In our case, ‘after the Schützenfest is before the Schützenfest’ was a short period of time. Our gin was still quite new on the market, we had gained some initial experience, and already a new edition had to be planned, designed and produced. There was no time to lose and we had to work hard to present the people of Biberach with a suitable gin in time for the actual Schützenfest.
Working together for a good cause
The design of the Schützenedition is a collaboration between the artist SAXA, gallery owner Thomas Knoll and Round Table 75 Biberach. The Schützenedition will be launched on 2 July 2021 at the vernissage in the Knoll Gallery, all for a good cause under the motto ‘Achieving more together for Biberach in Biberach’.

This limited special edition is dedicated entirely to our Schützenfest, the festival of our hometown. Fruity and with a light summery raspberry note – just like the popular Schützenkrapfen doughnuts.
At Round Table, we believe that we can make a positive difference to society through our personal commitment. That's why we donate all proceeds from the sale of this gin exclusively to charitable projects, primarily in the district of Biberach.
