Marksmen Edition 2022 Label Design Competition
Label-Design Contest
After two years of “Schütza dahoim,” it’s finally time once again to properly celebrate the most beautiful local festival in the world and to enjoy a very special gin while doing so.
That’s why we at Round Table 75 Biberach have launched a label design contest to create a label that embodies the spirit of the Schützenfest, joy, traditions, and the Schützen colors.
A Change of Pace
What do the Christmas market and our 2022 Schützen Edition have in common? We simply combined the two. While we were renovating our booth at the Christkindle Market, we also experimented with new flavors for this year’s edition. The result is a summery treat featuring exotic yuzu and lime, one that tastes great not just on Schützen evenings. And of course, the booth has been renovated too and is now shining brightly, freshly painted!
Thank you very much to all the participants!
With this year’s design, we took a chance on an experiment and learned a lot. However, we always agreed that when it came to taste, the only way to judge was through our own personal, human palates. We started by gathering flavor suggestions to prepare for the tasting. In a small, convivial gathering, we sampled eight hand-selected samples, each with a completely different flavor profile, alongside some culinary delicacies.
In the end, we settled on a gin that now bears the label “Schützenedition 2023.” With its refreshing blend of citrus and herbs, we’ve created the ideal drink for all lovers of good gin, the 2023 Schützenfest, and the summer.
Artistic rendering of the “Schützenzone” in Biberach
Out of numerous submissions, Lisa Fürst from Biberach ultimately came out on top. Her illustration is a kind of cheerful map of Biberach’s “Schützenzone” district, complete with many details.
She is a designer and artist who creates pop-up cards, various pattern designs, and illustrations for books. Learn more about her work at atelierbc.de
We're donating €1,000 to a good cause
It wasn’t just Lisa Fürst and her illustration that won it was, above all, the good cause. Round Table 75 Biberach is donating €1,000 to a charity of her choice. The donation will go to DRK Glücksmomente. “Glücksmomente” is aimed at terminally ill people of all ages, helping them fulfill one last heartfelt wish that they can no longer achieve on their own.
If you’d like to support this good cause, buy a bottle of gin now and help fund charitable projects in and around Biberach.
Beaver’s Crown Gin
MARKSMEN EDITION 2022
Exotic yuzu and lime make this year’s special edition gin a summery treat, not just for shooting club evenings.
At Round Table, we believe that we can positively change society through our personal commitment. That’s why we donate all proceeds from the sale of this gin exclusively to nonprofit projects, primarily in the Biberach district.
